Dear Sirs COMPLAIN I have a car of yr brand - 1st time with Mercedes. My car is a B 180 W246 model 2012 automatic with only 94.700 km, with all services in time and in yearly basis and at yr dealer Mercedes at Athens /Greece - Benz Hellas, and with careful use all these years. car plate IOA 1735. The alarm of check engine appeared, without any other symptom except a small sound for the first seconds of each engine starts with cold engine - at start/stop no any strange sound - at roads no any symptom. On 20/11/19 i went to service station at Athens /Greece, were the computer diagnosis was : Position of the intake camshaft is implausible relative to the position of the camshaft. also that the above is not at permissible limit value. Engine opened where found that the gear of camshaft / teeths were in poor condition. Internal/suction side camshaft and gear renewed. The all story cost me 2.000 E , were i believe that is totally unacceptable for a premium car like Mercedes at only 94.000 km - were there is no any maintenance plan for any checking or renewing or adjusting of camshafts at any kilometers.
